Assistant Professor Kodama Sakie to Present Results of an Environmental DNA Fish Survey of the Shinano River System at the Population Ecology Society
Assistant Professor Sakie Kodama will present the results of a large-scale survey conducted by the Institute of Freshwater Biology in September to survey the freshwater fish fauna of the entire Shinano River as a preliminary report in English at the 37th Annual Meeting of the Society for Population Ecology to be held online on November 6-7, 2021 (Ryukoku University):

The presentation will report on the patterns of diversity of fish fauna among habitats revealed by this survey, the relationship between fish fauna and river works, rare species detected, and the distribution of domestic invasive species as predictions.
