The Institute of Freshwater Biology's Chikuma River research was featured on the SBC Shinetsu Broadcasting website!

On December 7, 2022, the Institute of Freshwater Biology’s environmental DNA survey of the entire Chikuma River and Shinano River was featured on the SBC Shinetsu Broadcasting website. You can also watch the TV broadcast on December 2, 2022.

The Chikuma River River Ecology Group of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, led by Professor Hiroshi Hakoyama of the Institute of Freshwater Biology, will continue to conduct river ecological engineering research in the Chikuma River and Shinano River basins and contribute to flood control in the river basins.
